Motorcycle Rodeo

Scenes from the 2011 Mid Atlantic Police Motorcycle Rodeo - http://www.mapmrc.com/ If you haven't been to one, it is really impressive to see the skill it takes to operate these motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson Demo Day

I didn't think I would be able to demo ride a V-Rod because of hurricane Irene, but the weather cleared up and turned out nice the following day.  Here are some pics of the event - they had it at Fairfax Corner Shopping Center where the store owner's are rude but the restaurants are pretty good

Volunteers from Fairfax HOG and employees from Patriot HD helped with the event

Ducati Experience

Okay, just to change it up a bit - I test rode a Ducati Multistrada.  We watched a video about their bikes, they gave us free capucino and biscotis, and took us for a nice ride through old town Leesburg.  Very nice experience indeed... but I still love my HD!

It started to rain but we waited it out - well worth it since it made for a cooler ride

Nightstick Upgrade

I bought this Screamin' Eagle 2-into-1 exhaust slip on muffler last year and I finally got around to installing it.  Installation was easy and took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.  The part that took the longest was removing the old muffler.  Tools needed were a 3/4 wrench and torque wrench.

The Nightstick out of the box Part number: 80881-10 and muffler clamp.
